Arrive in Turmi, heart of Hamer country, and visit homesteads and the celebrated evening markets of the region.
Take the dramatic track along the Omo river to Karo villages on the high banks, famous for their body painting and views.
Cross toward Mursi villages near Mago park, meeting the community respectfully with your local guide.
Return via Jinka and stop at an Ari community market before descending out of the valley.
Drive the scenic road back to the capital, with a lunch stop in Sodo, where the tour ends.

The main roads are sealed; sections of the Omo river track are rougher dust roads that our 4x4 handles comfortably.
